The city's poor house was built in 1839 from parts of the demolished city wall in the area of the Strausberger Tor. Since 1995 it invites you to delicious food as an originally furnished restaurant. In the former poor parlor with converted beds and old kitchen utensils, but also in the vault and the beautiful courtyard at the foot of the stork tower, you can dine down to earth.
