Tauberbischofsheim is located in the "Lovely Tauber Valley", one of the most beautiful German landscapes, and at the beginning of the "Romantic Road" tourist route. The athletes at the fencing club Tauberbischofsheim have won over 390 medals in the Olympic Games and World and European Championships alone.
IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach is the sports ambassador of his hometown Tauberbischofsheim. He has been the first German and the first Olympic champion in the highest office of international sport since September 2013.
In addition to a historic old town with a neo-Gothic town hall including a carillon and a remarkable town hall, the numerous Franconian half-timbered buildings, the narrow streets, churches and chapels, the Kurmainzisches Schloss and the tower tower as a symbol of the city and the decorative fountain, the redesigned market square and the newly designed one are also impressive Pedestrian zone, which invites you to stroll, look at and stop off with its retail shops, cafés and restaurants.

Tauberbischofsheim is a beautiful little town on the "Romantic Road" in the "Lovely Tauber Valley". It has many sights such as the historic old town with many half-timbered houses, a beautiful market square and many other beautiful places that invite you to linger. It is a great starting point for wonderful hikes and great bike rides.
