Along the road there are usually several wood-fired ovens where women, accompanied by their young children, usually work cooking these typical Moroccan cakes to sell them to tourists who decide to stop and buy. They are all over the Rueda area and they also cook pasta to sell.
The effort that women must make to withstand those high temperatures next to the oven, dressed in their rough and warm clothes, while we wear a sweaty shirt and shorts, never ceases to amaze.
