The Ravel cycle route L38 ends in Plombières. Here there is a connection to the RavelRadweg L39, which also runs on a disused railway line. The L 39 is classified as a temporary cycle path, it is not as well developed as the L38. The L39 cycle path is to be paved better in the future, but it crosses a nature reserve. For nature conservation reasons, the cycle path will probably not be asphalted. The Ravel L39 is bumpy in places. If you want to avoid the bumpy passages on the L39, you can continue to follow the Euroveloroute 3 (pilgrim route) from Hombourg and cycle on (little-used) country roads to Gemmenich.
