Leave the car in the car park in front of the Miravalle hotel, proceed on a straight stretch of asphalt road until you reach and go up a couple of hairpin bends which lead to the "car park" for those making the excursion to the Walter Bonatti refuge, in the Malatrà valley Continuing a little further on, you reach the locality of Arnouva, where you can also make a brief stop at the bar/restaurant of the same name.Here the asphalt ends and you continue on a short stretch that can be pedaled with some ease and then another ride of screw to the gradient.Attention to tourists, on foot, along this dirt road, they can be numerous in the canonical periods, but the road is wide and is easily passable.

3 km of uphill dirt road leads to the Elena Refuge, where it will be possible to enjoy a wonderful view of the Pre de Bar glacier and the Dolent, the mountain of the 3 states (Italy, France and Switzerland), one of the delimiting corners of the Bianco. A well-deserved stop at the refuge reveals the splendid position of Val Ferret, all to be enjoyed with your eyes!
