The church was situated here until 1891. A campanile was built in 1970. It is designed by the former vicar Olav Dahle. The bell dated 1662 comes from the old church. The campanile has a scheduled watch, that makes the bell toll at 6.30 p.m every summer evening. It is also a beautyspot. The old church - yard is tendered for and is also used for open air services. On the south side of the wall there are ancient graves from the Iron Age. These are however difficult to find.
