Park Lake is a recreational large swimming lake next to a fishing lake, a half mile west up the road from Santa Rosa's most famous attraction, the Blue Hole. All these lakes in a desert area are explained by huge underground aquifers that come close to the surface here. Besides swimming the lake also offers picnic areas and games for all ages. Walking in is free, parking would cost $10.
