A former fortified farm from the 15th century, the manor of Potrel, in Dragey-Ronthon, in the Manche department, today only reveals a courtyard entrance guarded by two turrets pierced with loopholes and an orthogonal dovecote. Partially listed as a Historic Monument, it now has a more recent main building with a hall of honor decorated with a set of woodwork and painted beams from the end of the 17th century. Michel Brackmann (1766-1850), Swiss guard to Louis XVI after escaping the Tuileries massacre, came to Dragey with Mr. Dachet, owner of the Brion manor, and married the daughter of the owner of Potrel1.
The 15th–16th century manor is in the form of an enclosure with an entrance flanked by two semi-circular towers and a kind of octagonal keep (dovecote).
