Bowman's Shortcut Trail is a single-track trail in the Vail Pass Recreation Area. Near the ridge to Battle Mountain, there is a clearing on the Bowman's Shortcut Trail that offers excellent views of the Gore Range and Mount of the Holy Cross Wilderness.
