Mundelsheim - Some views seem almost too beautiful to be true. One of them is the one of the Neckar loop near Mundelsheim. From the Käsberg you look down on an almost perfect U, which, depending on the water level and weather conditions, consists of deep blue, silvery or brownish colored, slowly flowing Neckar water. And of course vineyards. Because there are plenty of them in Mundelsheim and the surrounding area. With a bit of luck you can watch stand-up paddlers or canoeists on the river, every now and then a ship quietly makes its way, and the cyclists on the path close to the Neckar also offer a colorful picture, but in view of the splendor of nature, this is just the icing on the cake. When the sun sinks diagonally behind the Käsberg in the evening and you sit on one of the benches with the best view, perhaps with a Mundelsheim wine in your bag, the romance simply cannot be topped.

And the legend of the Lügenbrückle?

If you need a little thrill aside from the romance, we recommend the Lügenbrückle, which you cross on the circular path in the area of the Klinge. According to Mundelsheim legend, anyone who has lied will fall down there into hell, or at least into the depths. This is because the bridge used to be made of wood and eventually rotted. Today it is made of steel, so walkers and hikers are on the safe side.
