By taking the chemin des lacs from the resort between DMC 1 and 2, you come to a superb viewpoint which reveals the magnificent lake complex made up of the Rond, Besson and Noir lakes. Patience and discretion may make you meet marmots.

This higher path is not very wide, but offers a beautiful view of the two lakes and is therefore preferable to the path below by the lake. This detour is worth it!

It's indeed wonderful to admire the lakes from above. In summer, it's a wide path without any shade.
