Anduze is a pretty, lively little town with a Mediterranean flair, the "gateway to the Cevennes", with many small alleys, shops, bars, ice cream shops and restaurants, also a center for ceramic and nougat production (= Turkish honey). Very nice, very relaxing.

The well-preserved bell or clock tower is an eye-catcher in the town and was built in the 14th and 18th centuries; it is considered a historical monument.
