The monastery fountain was poured by a "Mr. Hepplein" on behalf of and in honor of Duke Eberhard Ludwig of Württemberg (1676-1733, reign 1677-1733).
The ducal coat of arms is depicted on one side of the fountain as well as the "consecration -" / casting date 1729 and the letters E-L-H-Z-W for "Eberhard Ludwig - Duchy of Württemberg".

The church in the center of today's "monastery" was built in 1525 after the old minster was destroyed by the troops of Margrave Alkibiades of Brandenburg in the wars of the Reformation.
It is a Protestant parish church, which was converted into a baroque hall church in the years 1700-1720. The gallery, the roof structure and the ceiling as well as the chairs date from this time. A crucifixion group behind the altar dates from the 18th century. You can also find the grave slab of Anna Beatrix von Schluesselburg, who died in 1355. She was the wife of Ulrich IX. from Helfenstein.
On the outer wall (back of the church) you can find the epitaph by Johann Georg Blezinger (1717-1795). He was an entrepreneur and shaped the economic boom in Königsbronn.

Particularly impressive and easily legible iron grave monuments - incidentally the largest of its kind in Germany.
As Königsbronn used to be a center of iron smelting, this is not surprising. Abbots and smelters have created artistic cast iron works here.
