Great places with innovative play, leisure and exercise offers for young and old have been created in the Käfertal park shell, which can be used from April 14th.
The offers are located in the north park shell, which is the connection from the newly created Spinelli quarter to the park area. A total of five stations can be used by all generations over a length of 1300 meters. The devices located there reflect Mannheim's inventions and topics in their functions. For example, there are the “Tractor”, “Elevator” or “Automobile” stations, which invite you to exercise.
Station 5 is called "Fernwärme" and enables a playful exploration of pipes and tubes. The young visitors can expect a crawl tunnel, a slide, a sand play station, liana ropes and much more.
The stations are supplemented by a sports and movement area in the east of the park bowl. A calisthenics facility invites you to a full-body workout. Strength and jumping ability are trained in parkour and golf is played with Frisbee discs in the disc golf course
