Well, an airport is not necessarily a highlight. But the landing lizards around the airport are definitely there. If you have some time before departure or after arrival, you can walk a few meters on the street and look out for the animals. This may save you an expensive guided tour. (Caution only on the street... the side paths belong to the airport and may not be used (there is no fence around the runway).
And yes, the highlight: the airport is the first ecological one in the world ... so they say ... at least there are wind turbines next to it.
