From here you can take the Kiel Fördeschiffahrt across the fjord, either to the city center of Kiel (Bahnhofskai) or directly to the other bank of the Förde (Laboe, Mönkeberg, Möltenort) to take your tour there. continue through the Probstei or along the Baltic Sea Cycle Path towards Hohwacht and Fehmarn or simply save the trip around the Kiel Fjord (approx. 40 km) 😉
The trip with the Förde steamers is then not exactly cheap in my opinion, so a barely 15-minute crossing from Friedrichsort to Laboe costs € 6.20 (1 adult + bike), but is certainly an experience.
