Small haven of nature on the Loire. A tree-lined hiking trail goes around the island and offers some beautiful views of the river. The many picnic tables make it a pleasant place to rest after a long journey, ten kilometers before the big city.
On the other hand, the place seems unfortunately abandoned by the city of Saint-Luce: the children's games have practically disappeared, the toilets are (really) not maintained at all and the drinking water has been cut off. It is kind of a shame ! (Finding made on May 17. Maybe in summer it will be better).

Beautiful hike between lakes and the Loire. A very good way to discover the very pretty town of Sainte Luce with its many small parks and quiet neighborhoods. And what a town hall!
