Mémorial du Souvenir is a French museum with Operation Dynamo as its main theme. The museum is located in a fortification that was built in 1874 to strengthen the coastal defenses at Dunkirk. The building, Bastion 32, served as the headquarters of the French and British armed forces during the Battle of Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo. The museum shows the battle and the evacuation of more than 338,000 Allied soldiers on the basis of maps, photos and Allied and German military equipment. The museum is not open all year round.

The well-designed "Mémorial du Souvenir" is a war museum and memorial site in Dunkirk, commemorating the Battle of Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo. Various exhibits can be seen, such as aircraft engines, uniforms and weapons, and there are also great display boards with texts and pictures. The museum is housed in Bastion 32 of Dunkirk's coastal fortifications from 1874 on Rue des Chantiers de France. The bastion served as a headquarters for French and Allied English troops during the Battle of Dunkirk in May and June 1940 during World War II.
