Through the mediation of the sculptor Christian Daniel Rauch, the young sculptor Friedrich Drake was commissioned by the "Möser Association" to create a colossal statue of Justus Möser for Osnabrück. The monument was ceremonially unveiled on September 12, 1836 on the Große Domsfreiheit.
Here too, Konrad Böert's photos have nothing to do with Justus Möser and his memorial. Worse still: he simply adds the monuments of Ludwig Windthorst (which are located somewhere else entirely), the Löwenpudel, the Rampendahl beer house and the theater, which are themselves highlights in their own right. The funfair and the Ferris wheel also have nothing to do with Justus Möser (except perhaps the proximity to the location).
