Lock 1 baptismal name: "The Constitution" (after the new form of government adopted after King Gustav IV Adolf was deposed from the throne).
Year of construction: 1817 also called the sea lock or the gate to Lake Vänern. The lock keeper's house was built in 1857.
Lock 2 baptismal name: "The Nobility" & Lock 3 baptismal name: "The Priests".
Year of construction: Both locks were built in 1816-1817. This double lock has a drop of 4.8 m. The wooden lock keeper's cottage by lock 2-3 in Sjötorp was built in 1906.

Year of construction: Both locks were built in 1819-1820. This double lock has a drop of 4.8 m. The wooden lock keeper's house next door was built in 1858. A modern bascule bridge crosses the canal just below the lock.

Year of construction: 1820. This single lock has a drop of 2.4 m. Here at the sixth lock in Sjötorp there is a unique lock keeper's house. It was probably built in the 1810s.
Sluice 7 baptized name: "Mining" & Sluice 8 baptized name: "The Trade".
Year of construction: Both locks were built in 1822. The lock consists of two connected locks. Together, the locks have a drop of 4.6 m.
