Top recommendation: the core zone is accessible by racing bike. The path is NOT paved, but better than some asphalt. I rode the trail in absolute dry weather and now after heavy rain: no quicksand, no puddles. Coming from Boek is first a concrete road. After the surface changes to sand, it is sometimes a bit uneven for about 500m because of stones. Not critical. Then very flat surface to Schwarzenhof. Best driven from north to south: beautiful descent to Schwazenhof.
