Ellwangen is a cozy town that makes a super nice destination for a bike ride. Especially the baroque old town is worth seeing, here you can admire not only numerous historical monuments, but strengthen you in the restaurants of the narrow streets and alleys in beautiful atmosphere.
Overnight accommodations are available as well as a train connection. If you still have time for us, it's worth taking a short detour to one of the many bathing lakes just outside the city.

For friends of classical chamber music, the Ellwangen Castle Concerts have been a guarantee for music of the highest standard in the special ambience of the throne room in the Ellwangen Castle Museum for years.
I would take something sensible to wear with me though.....
