The Bückeburg Museum, which opened in 1905, is one of the oldest museums in the Weser area. The house in which it is housed is already worth seeing. The permanent exhibition, which was modernized and updated in 2022 with the help of EU funds, deals with the history of the city of Bückeburg and the former Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe. On the upper floor, the traditional costumes of Schaumburg and their meaning for the people are presented. Admission to the museum is free.
