Only if you need to pass from Lochalsh to Broadford should you take this route. Fallen Trees to climb over, some parts on Highway, some parts of the way fully covered by high bushes.
The old road from Broadford to Kyleakin is a scenic route that runs alongside the busy A87 and passes through Breakish, connecting to the Skye Bridge at Kyleakin roundabout.
Some of the old road isn't passable due to vegetation growth. But it is possible to climb up the banks to the A87 and carry on the walk. Just be mindful that this road is the main trunk road and there will be fast traffic passing. I have placed points were the old road isn't passable.
