22 fish ponds stretch along the main Spree between Lübben and Schlepzig. They are a habitat, feeding area and resting place for many water and raptor species. Binoculars and a bit of time to observe will help to discover the diversity.

The way to Schlepzig is very nice with the highlights. Since we did not want to go back the same way (route included here), we have chosen this circuit. That was a mistake, the second part of the track leads a lot over normal roads and is quite monotonous. Since the same way back would have been much better.
