Saassnitz is a small port city with flair. In addition to the city center with many shopping opportunities, Sassnitz has a historic old town, a beach promenade and an idyllic harbor.
The port is now a mixture of fishing and tourism port. With its 1450m long pier, it always attracts numerous Rüganers and guests.
Here there is the unmistakable harbor atmosphere with fishing boats, yachts and passenger ships. Fishing trawlers, sailors and excursion boats come in and out here.
