The rustic Rotstockhütte stands at an altitude of 2,039 meters. It lies at the foot of the Schilthorn and offers you real panoramic views of the Mönch and Jungfrau, among others. Surrounded by colorful flower meadows and grazing cows, whose bells are constantly ringing, you can enjoy delicious delicacies here, and rest for your onward journey. Alternatively, you can end the day here, because the hut offers sleeping facilities. However, you have to register in advance for this.
A charming little alpine hut. The dormitory is comfortable, with blankets and pillows provided. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. A definite highlight: they serve milkshakes up here! The Rotstockhütte is not a Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) hut and should be booked in advance. In addition to the dormitory, there is also the option of renting a separate cabin for two people.
Beautifully situated cottage. We stayed upstairs for one night with our kids (6 and 9 years old). We saw lots of flowers, chamois and marmots. The hut is very clean and the half board meal is a three course meal.
