Beautiful place. Used for purposes for which it is not intended. You cannot and are not allowed to walk around it, only following the yellow route of Limburgs Landschap vzw is allowed and it only runs along the left side of 't Koët to take you via Lummen industry to the Albert Canal. The signposted (if there are no "disappear" signs) walk does not run through the real swamp forest at any point, the largest and most vulnerable part of that swamp forest is even off limits and the owners will make sure you notice that. You do walk through some forest and encroaching heathland.

There is one "official walk": indicated by yellow signs, although you better prepare yourself, quite a few have disappeared due to the use of 't Koët by many people who are not really nature lovers. Limburgs Landschap has been informed of the disappearance of some markers and the presence of a lot of litter during my last visit.

't Koet, a beautiful lake, is located in the middle of the De Groene Delle nature reserve. This pit was dug at the time for soil extraction during the construction of the motorway. It has an area of 8 hectares.
