The idyllic hiking trail from Malbun via Sassfürkle to Alp Sass is well prepared and offers wonderful views of the Pizol and the Alpstein mountains. Fantastically beautiful!
From Sass-Fürkle there are several hiking opportunities in all directions, e.g. Schönberg, Alp Guschg, Valorschtal, Galinakopf, Matta, Mattajoch to Gamp (AT) etc.

A winter hiking trail leads to Sassfürkle, so depending on the prepared condition it might not be necessary to put on your snowshoes ... but then you can for the further way to Schönberg. The path leads through a very scenic area and is simply gorgeous.
At Sassfürkle there are benches and you can enjoy wonderful views and it is a very nice place to take a break.

Sassfürkle is a pass at 1,785 meters over which the Valorsch circuit leads. Here you can turn onto the path to Schönberg.
