Taipei Main Station is the main transportation hub for both the city and northern Taiwan.
- Under the train station is a huge shopping center
- The bus station is just across the street
- Airport MRT to Taoyuan Airport
- There are lockers for luggage everywhere
Many hotels are located in the immediate vicinity of the main station. The environment of the main station is safe and clean and by no means comparable with train stations in Germany. Hotels here are a good choice.
