Along the road was the village Dörnsdorf. After the Second World War, the predominantly German-Bohemian population was expelled, the population dropped to about one tenth of that of 1930. With installation of the dam Preßnitz the place was in their catchment area and was therefore evicted early in the 1970s and demolished until 1974. The district was slammed Kryštofovy Hamry.
