On the island of Ilhabela, SP (actually called Ilha San Sebastian), there are a few hanging bridges on the trail from the main town of Vila Bela to the Bay of Bonete. The most beautiful is at Cachoeire Areado. There are no roads leading to Bonete and the town can only be reached on foot or by boat-taxi.
