The Arlesheim Cathedral is located in the basellandschaftliches community Arlesheim in Switzerland and was consecrated in 1681. From 1679 to 1792, the church and cathedral houses on Domplatz were the seat of the cathedral chapter of the diocese of Basel. The cathedral has become the landmark of Arlesheim. Also famous is the organ by Johann Andreas Silbermann from the year 1761
The concert series at Arlesheim Cathedral, established in 1974, offers four concerts annually. The focus is on performances of sacred music with early music ensembles and organ recitals on the historic Silbermann organ from 1761, which has been beautifully restored in recent years.
