The castle is privately owned and therefore not accessible. View of the main house is only possible from a hidden fence (at the Parkring). The beautiful entrance area is definitely worth seeing.

Leopoldsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1140. The Babenbergs were the feudal lords. Duke Friedrich II the Quarrelsome enfeoffed the knight Tannhäuser with the estate.
After a long period of vacancy, in 2007 Dr. Michael Müller acquired the castle and extensively restored it. Today it serves as the headquarters for his group of companies.
