Pollock House is an excellent example of Georgian grandeur. Built in the 18th century and extended in the early 20th century it's a wonderful grand house and gardens. This is where the National Trust for Scotland was dreamed up and today Pollock House is one of the grandest in their collection.
You can visit the house (paid entry for non-members) but you can also run around the houses exterior, gardens and parkland for free.
