The palace was built by King Khai Dinh. From 1945 to 1955, the abdicated King Bao Dai lived in the palace with his family. In terms of style, it is a combination of French architecture with Vietnamese style elements.
The outside of the palace has suffered greatly, but inside there are some excellently restored rooms and furnishings. Absolutely worth seeing! There is also a lotus pond in the garden.
