The bike path that has been leading us through the Ria Formosa National Park for hours is a feast for the eyes. Shadeless, sandy and dusty, but plenty to see in terms of plants, birds, animals and colorfully shimmering salt pans that steam away in the sun. Oddly enough, the nearby airfield doesn't even bother me.
