Dingolfing has a benevolent fate with one of its greatest sights, the so-called Herzogsburg, a building that is now known beyond Bavaria. Thanks to the intervention of responsible personalities, it was acquired from private property for the city in 1956. The city council at the time proved that it was well aware of the mandatory cultural heritage of earlier centuries at the height of economic and industrial development. Since then, everything has been done to make the monument accessible to the public. In addition to the opportunity to view the museum's collections in the historical rooms, the Herzogsburg has been used for several years as a representative setting for weddings and cultural events. Within the museum, changing special exhibitions make their contribution to maintaining the local culture. The present work shows the Dingolfing landmark comprehensively. Friday to Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
