The Castle of the Counts of Orgaz, is from the 14th century, possibly built on a previous one, it is a beautiful example of a residential fortress and of magnificent conservation. It is rectangular in plan and finished in beautiful battlements with marvelous cantilevered sentry boxes in the corners. The Tower of Homage has a semicircular apse corresponding to a chapel that breaks the rectilinear structure of the complex.

Of great historical value, this 10th century castle was originally a defensive fortress on the road to Seville and later served as a refuge during the War of the Communities of Castile.
Currently it can be visited on Saturday and Sunday mornings and its high level of conservation is noteworthy.
