A picturesque forest of holm oaks, junipers and oaks hides the waterfalls and pools of Rio Pitrisconi. They are generated by the river of the same name, one of the rare Sardinian streams that flows throughout the year. Over time, the patient work of erosion carried out by the water on the granite has created a gorge with natural pools, small lakes on which the green of the Mediterranean vegetation is reflected and a spectacular waterfall that makes various leaps.
We walked the tour in the other direction, very nice descent and the piscinas were refreshing, but at the end we stood in front of the locked gate, which we then climbed over it. The ascent described in the tour seems to be a private route.
