During the construction of the New Luppe, numerous tributaries of the White Elster and the Luppe were interrupted, the Old Luppe and the Luppe itself northeast of the Domholzschänke in the Neue Luppe. From the bridge you have a good view of the straightened course of the Neue Luppe in the middle of the floodplain forest.
