The history of the small town of Pano is fascinating. Totally abandoned and in a state of ruin since the sixties, it is now in the process of being restored thanks to the Pano Foundation. Led by Kurt Fridez, a Swiss man who fell in love with the place and decided to move here to undertake a large rehabilitation project, the foundation has managed to restore several houses, has built a restaurant and is in the process of restoring the church. Seeing the beauty of the place where Pano is located, it is easy to understand that someone would like to recover this corner and give it new life.
