What a contrast when you come out of the woods at the swimming pool and are in the area of the old Buxtehucder barracks. The buildings are already or are being converted into new apartments. Not recommended for normal bikes / touring bikes. With an MB or at least a cross bike it’s going very well.
P.S .: The barracks were closed in the mid-90s and built with single houses, town villas etc. until the beginning / mid-2000s and some old barracks were converted into residential buildings. Small businesses and offices are now housed in the old gate building.
Nothing has been built or converted here for at least 15 years ;-)
