A beautiful 60m tall waterfall on the trail to Rauðauga, the source of the iron-rich waters that coloured the waterfall and river bed in "rusty red".
Close to road f-225, the waterfall is visible from the road, but more than worth a stop and a short hike to the viewpoint.
I also recommend not to stop at the Rauðfoss viewpoint but to continue on to Rauðauga, the source of this river. It's a 9km roundtrip hike, but more than worth it!
This is a very delicate environment, so be careful not to step out for the market trail
