This Ridgeway segment from Swindon to Goring on Thames includes miles of chalk trails, with some historic ruins beside the trail.
I rode this one way; parked my car in Goring and caught the train with my bike from Goring to Swindon. Short road section through Swindon before climbing up to join the Ridgeway trail.

I ride this route from Swindon to Didcot and back at least twice a week going to and from work and love it, there are many byways off the ridgeway worth exploring, stunning scenery and wildlife
