Located in the Valle de los Pedroches, in the northernmost part of Córdoba and Andalusia, and in the heart of the Sierra Morena Cordoba. Its streets are steep and narrow because they are on a hill and it is striking that most of its houses are built of granite, contrasting with the typical whitewashed villages around it.
