David Livingston named Victoria Falls in honor of his Queen. He was the first European to discover the falls, at least that's what the history books say. Victoria Falls is a wide waterfall of the Zambezi between the border towns of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Livingstone in Zambia. The falls have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989.
