The construction of the hall church began in 1753 and was completed in 1755. It has a high church tower in the east, in which a church bell from the 15th century hangs. The tower's onion-shaped dome continues in a double lantern.
The interior of the nave has two circular ceiling paintings depicting seraphim. The galleries are painted with bouquets of flowers and fruit as well as Bible verses and were renovated in 1939. The pulpit, built around 1755, has statues of the four evangelists, and there is a figure of Christ on the sound cover. The baptismal font dates from 1652.
The first organ was built in 1789 by Johann-Markus Oestreich. It was replaced in 1930 by a work with twelve registers, two manuals and a pedal by Förster & Nicolaus Orgelbau in the organ case from 1789, which is flanked by two tuba angels.
