this is a greenpath along an old railway. Most of it is in the middle of nature, without entering into villages, so pretty isolated. Both Évora and Arraiolos are cities with services (supermarkets, lodging, cafes, etc) so it fits nice a one way slow daytrip or a round trip from Évora. The ecopista continues 10km more, from Arraiolos old train station to Vale do Gaio station, but there is nothing around. In Évora you can catch the train to Lisbon.
In June 2024, parts of it were quite overgrown and the information boards all weathered and unreadable. Pity that there seems to be no maintenance. Because it is still a great way to get into the countryside from Evora.
