The outbuildings and the forester's lodge in the Sophienreuth district, both built around 1873, are listed as the castle itself.

The castle avenue, with its old chestnut and beech trees, is a protected natural area. For this reason, every effort is made to preserve the trees:
Trees that are already hollow inside have been reinforced and stabilized with iron bracing.
A visit here is particularly worthwhile in spring, when the fresh green of the leaves shines, and in autumn with its magnificent foliage.
It's only about 200 meters from the "Pearl Route" cycle path to here, and definitely worth the walk.
